For the second year St Giles' hosts the City Showcase Spotlight on
London Classical Concert.
Singing sensation Keedie headlines sensational bill at St Giles Church.
With doors opening
at 7pm, the evening will include Keedie

her classical voice to the charts when she duetted with Blue's
Duncan James on "I Believe My Heart", the theme tune from
Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Woman in White), fast rising gifted
violinist Elizabeth Cooney accompanied by a very talent pianist in his
own right - Daniel Hill, acclaimed harpist Jemima Phillips (the only
musician invited to perform at the wedding reception of Prince
Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall and harpist to the Prince of
Wales), the vibrant ensemble Brass 10 (including the
world premiere of a specially commissioned work by Richard Stroud) and
emerging tenor Nicholas Watts.
For this performance, City
Showcase is also delighted to present three great fashion
collaborations as Keedie
will be dressed by Julia Clancey, Elizabeth Cooney by Nadia and Jemima
Phillips by Hannah Marshall. Three very talented designers.

KEEDIE'S
OWN POP IDOL HAS THEM IN A SPIN
BY
NAOMI TOLLEY
Keedie
& Nathan Moore (her former manager) in
Paignton
Former
pop idol Nathan Moore made a guest appearance at a Paignton venue by
public demand.
He was introduced to fans at the Spinning Wheel, Esplanade, by
Marldon's own classical singer Keedie
Babb.
Nathan, a former singer with pop groups Brother Beyond and Worlds
Apart, had a number of chart hits in the 80s, including The Harder I
Try which reached number two in 1998.
Gary Babb, Keedie's father, said: "The public heard Nathan was
managing Keedie and really wanted to get him to perform down
here."
He said Nathan had never been to the area before, except when Keedie
signed a £1 million recording contract with music recording giants
EMI.
"Keedie finally persuaded him to come down and do a gig. The
public were over the moon," explained Gary.
Nathan worked with producers Stock, Aitken and Waterman, later joining
Worlds Apart and enjoyed success in the UK and France in 1993 and 94.
As well as Keedie, Nathan manages Liberty X and has been seen on the
ITV1 show Reborn in the USA.
Gary said: "The evening went really well, the place was packed -
there must have been a full house."
Nathan sang a number of Brother Beyond and Worlds Apart hits.
A fan who was there for the gig said: "It was a great night - I
had a chat with Nathan about what he'd been doing since the busy days
of The Harder I Try."
Fans can also see Nathan in a new reality television programme called
Totally Scott Lee, which airs on MTV
