Having enjoyed a career in entertainment that has spanned
three decades, there's no doubt that
Keedie's former manager
Nathan Moore knows how to put on a great show. While
welcoming guests at his wedding to events planner Donna
Fisher, the singer - who found fame with Brother Beyond and
is a member of recently reunited boy band Worlds Apart -
explained: "I want to make it a day to remember, not just
for Donna and I, but for all the people here." And it was
certainly that!
Watched by friends and family, including Donna's 11 year old
son Ryan, the couple tied the knot in Cala d'Or, Majorca, at
a villa surrounded by lush gardens and overlooking the sea.
The bride emerged in a Cinderella-style gown encrusted with
Swarovski crystals that sparkled in the sunlight and with
her blonde hair adorned with a tiara. "I just thought,
'I am the luckiest man alive,'" says Nathan, remembering the
moment he saw his bride. "Her beauty takes my breath away."
After the ceremony music was performed by Eurovision
and Fame Academy star James Fox and
Keedie. Opera singing sensation
Keedie was
a 'Big Hit' when she sang 'Time Of My Life' - from the film
Dirty Dancing - with James Fox, 'Nessun Dorma', a
brilliantly stunning tribute to the master Luciano
Pavarotti, plus 'I Will
Always Love You' - a song written and originally performed
by American country singer-songwriter Dolly Parton and then
most famously recorded by American pop/R&B singer Whitney
Houston. Then, after a special
wedding performance by Worlds Apart chums Cal Cooper, Nathan
and Steve Hart, the fun continued with the wedding party
sipping sangria and watching a troupe of Brazilian dancers,
then heading off to the chic Cala d'Or Yacht Club in a blue
and yellow road train, decorated with balloons and a 'Just
Married' sign.
"We didn't want a stuffy of formal wedding," Nathan says.
"We wanted the day to be different and full of happiness and
love."
