"Noel's House Party"
Institute of
Directors Club
116 Pall Mall, London
| Soccerex,
world-renowned hosts of football, business and hospitality events,
combined forces with the Institute of Directors and St. Michael's
House, provider of community based services for children and adults
with intellectual disabilities, to create a once in a lifetime
event, with the power to change lives. For those of you who know Soccerex's organisers Rita and Duncan Revie you will be aware of the amazing care St. Michael's have provided for Rita's brother Noel over the last three decades. As a thank you, for the selfless and awe-inspiring commitment of the carers and staff, they would like to give other families the chance to benefit from the magic of St. Michael's. Every penny from the event will go towards funding an additional permanent home for six adults. With many people urgently awaiting residential services, this new house will allow St. Michael's to extend the fantastic care they already provide, transforming yet more people's lives. For Noel's House Party, a cause so close to their hearts, Soccerex pulled out all the stops to create an evening that surpasses even the expectations of those familiar with their events. Celebrity Chef, Gary Rhodes, served a uniquely designed three course menu complimented by the finest wines. To add stardust to a glittering evening each of the twenty tables had a celebrity host including football legends Sir Tom Finney, Bryan Robson, Phil Thompson, as well as TV stars Eamonn Holmes, Penny Smith, Matt Lorenzo, Eastenders' Shaun Williamson, Cheryl Baker, and celebrity couple Peter and Jordan. Tables were priced at £10,000 + VAT per table and individual places were available at £1,000 + VAT per seat. Entertainment included music from the talented artist Ali Campbell from super band UB40 as well as world class stars Tony Hadley, Kiki Dee and Keedie. There was also hysterical live comedy, and magic from international star Chris Dugdale. The spectacular evening culminated with an unprecedented auction of 'money can't buy' lots, created especially for Noel's House Party: ranging from special events at Wimbledon and FIFA World Cup 2010, to holiday experiences at Sandy Lane in Barbados, and a World Class Safari. |
