Stars Turn Out
for
Natalie Imbruglia's 34th Birthday Bash.

Best party of the week was Aussie pop babe Natalie Imbruglia's fancy dress 34th birthday bash at Kensington Roof Gardens.  Prince Harry turned up as a surgeon, David Walliams camped it up in a white naval uniform whilst his girlfriend Lauren Budd donned a saucy police uniform!  Actress Jaime Winstone was a saucy air hostess and her boyfriend Alfie Allen came dressed as, well, god knows what!

Before the party of revellers set off from Natalie's home for Kensington Roof Gardens extraordinary classical/pop singer
Keedie Babb gave her a surprise birthday pressie by popping in unannounced to sing 'Nessun Dorma' and 'Time To Say Goodbye'.

"Hello Sailor!, Jaime Winstone here,
mind the steps as you go out!"

An officer and a gentleman: David Walliams with girlfriend Lauren Budd,
looking like the cat that got the cream! leave the birthday bash.

Stars Line Up
for Children's Hospice Benefit Show

To help celebrate the opening of Demelza's new hospice in Eltham, their Grand Masquerade Charity Ball for 2009 was held in the palatial surroundings of The Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London.

The 1980 Olympic skating champion Robin Cousins, who has already started in West End musicals like Cats and the Rocky Horror Picture show, and is the head judge on ITV’s Dancing on Ice, was the MC for the night and introduced among others, the former member of boy band 'Blue' Duncan James, who starred in 'Chicago' in the West End, and the beautiful
Keedie Babb. Duncan & Keedie sang Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 'Woman in White' theme 'I Believe My Heart'.

Leading cast members of the West End spoilt guests with a medley of songs from 'Phantom of the Opera' and many other popular musical numbers.

The theme was Masquerade and guests were invited to wear masks to hide their true identity!

The evening started the moment guests entered the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College, with the Thames behind and looking up the hill to the Observatory they were struck by the grandeur of this magnificent historical site. Home of Henry VIII, birthplace of Mary and Elizabeth I and where Lord Nelson lay in state, Demelza was hugely privileged to be holding their Grand Ball for 2009 at this world class location.

The champagne reception was held in the Queen Mary Ante Room and guests were called to dinner in the Painted Hall.

A short auction, kindly conducted by Sotheby's, concluded the formal part of the evening before guests were magically transported from heritage site to Night Club and bar!

At midnight one lucky supporter of Demelza found themselves the owner of a brand new Smart Car when the draw was made by the VIP mystery guest!
